Digital Patient files :

Digital patient files save time for patients as well as office staff. Paperless technology allows us to pull up a patient’s dental charts quickly, giving our dentists and staff access to the patient’s records in real time. It also helps us to access patient files remotely if needed.

Digital Intra-oral X-Rays :

The benefits of using digital radiography for dental X-rays are clear. The images it produces have better quality, enabling your dentist to see problems that might not appear on traditional X-rays. Plus, the images can be viewed on a computer monitor, enabling patients to look at them and see exactly what is going on with their teeth and/or gums. The most important benefit that digital X-rays offer to patients is the fact that they use less/minimal radiation than traditional versions, keeping patients’ exposure level safer.

Digital OPG X-rays :

An OPG is a panoramic or wide-view X-ray of the lower face, which displays all the teeth of the upper and lower jaw on a single view/shot. It demonstrates the number, position and growth of all the teeth, including those that have not yet surfaced or erupted. It is useful for patients who have a gagging tendency/couldn’t handle X-rays in their mouth, to assess wisdom teeth, to check the joint connecting the jaw to the head (Temporomandibular joint) and also replaces the need to have multiple small X-rays to check the overall situation.
By using digital solutions for X-rays. We are minimising environmental impact by avoiding the use and disposal of chemicals. It also reduces X-ray exposure to patients and staff.

Intra-oral Camera :

The intra-oral camera allows for both you and your dentist to go on a guided tour of your mouth. We can also take snapshots of certain areas that form a permanent part of your records, which can be very important to track your progress. And also, if you have cosmetic work done, it provides a record of where you began. The images can be stored, enlarged and even printed.
As it is nearly impossible to see inside your own mouth, intra-oral cameras provide a previously unseen view. The pen-sized camera features a disposable cover to prevent contamination and is completely comfortable to use.

Soft tissue laser :

A soft tissue laser is used to remove, adjust and/or cut off soft tissues for various reasons:

Sculpting of the gums (cosmetic contouring/shaping of the gums) to increase the length of the tooth
Tongue-tie: release
Removing the excess gum flap (peri-coronal flap) on top of wisdom teeth (Operculectomy)
Relieving ulcers and cold sores
Frenectomy
Exposure of unerupted teeth
Incision & drainage of abscess
Gingival troughing during the crown preparation of the tooth.
Implant recovery
Sulcular debridement to help clear gum disease (Periodontitis)
Removing soft tissue lesions/growth

Rotary Endodontics :

Endodontic therapy is the proper name for what is commonly referred to as a Root canal treatment (RCT). Rotary Endodontics is a new method of Root Canal Treatment that utilises an electric hand piece instead of hand/manual files. The procedure becomes quicker, more efficient and since it’s an electric instrument, there is no associated drilling noise.

SCHEU MINISTAR is a German manufactured machine for the construction/fabrication of Splints (for grinding patients), Bleaching trays, Suck down Temporary appliance (temporary solution for missing teeth), Temporary dentures & Mouthguards.
